We have used 9 component seismic data to explore in West Texas, South Eastern Colorado, North Dakota, and Western Alberta in both clastic and carbonate environments. We have achieved an expertise in all aspects of 9C data manipulation, from acquisition through processing to interpretation, and we have picked drilling locations based on compressional and shear wave seismic signatures. The information revealed on the multicomponent data provides for lithologic interpretations that are critical to stratigraphic traps.

Vecta's business model is to participate in exploration programs rather than to provide a service and to develop methods to open trends rather than single fields.
